its quite evident the movie is directed by an amateur.
But i must admit it has come quite good. Though the director has failed to put the essence of a movie across, he has succeeded in bringing out a long lost acting ability of Mohanlal.
Greta work from Lal. Though the movie is dragging the acting from Lal keeps you glued to the movie. A lot of over acting has been added up to the script to bring a sympathy wave. But by overdoing those scenes the directer has spoilt the show in a way!
Jagathy has done a good short role. Shweta menon has failed miserably and they could have easily picked on someone more natural to do the role.
Songs are average. An award chance for Mohanlal and the movie.

Too melodramatic to my taste.. maybe the story requires it.. but they could have brighten it a little bit.. but then most award movies are such.. u can just listen to the movie track while you do something else...
as for Mohanlal.. he has not put his best show I should say...
anyway this is not going to solve the problem of the paradeshi's as long as our politicians are still alive... for that one has to rewind to the time before partition and let partition never happen!
