Shell and wash 250 gm of small prawns. Heat oil in a pan and fry till
they turn reddish. Add a teasthingy of garlic paste, half a teasthingy of
ginger paste and two tablesthingys of onion paste and saute well with
the prawns. Thrown in half a teasthingy of turmeric powder, half a
teasthingy of red chilli powder,a teasthingy of sugar and one cup of
coconut milk. Bring to a boil and adjust seasoning. When the prawns
are done, pour over three tablesthingys of coconut cream and a few
strands of saffron soaked in little water. Remove from heat and
reserve in a bowl. Serve hot with rice.
