1. 1 chicken- cut into 8 pieces 2. 6 tbsp mustard oil 3. 5 cloves 4. 1 bay leaf 5. 1" cinnamon 6. 1 medium onion (finely chopped) 7. 2 tsp ground ginger 8. 1 black cardamom
marinade: 1. 1 tsp fennel powder 2. 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder 3. 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder 4. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 5. 1 1/2 tbsp garlic paste 6. 1 tbsp ginger paste 7. 1/2 cup yogurt 8.salt to taste
powder together: 1 tsp cumin seeds 4 green cardamoms 6 black peppers
Mix together all the ingredients of marinade.add chicken and let it marinate for 3 hrs. Heat oil add clove.chinnamon,bayleaf,1 black cardamom and fry. Add onion & fry till golden.now add ginger and fry for few minutes. Add chicken with marinade ,fry well.Add powdered cumin & green cardamoms.Fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Cover & cook on low heat till chicken turns tender.
Tips: If anyone doesn't like the taste of funnel powder , can replace it with coriander powder.
