One of Indian music's most celebrated and influential composers and musicians, A. R. Rahman is coming on a concert tour to Kuwait that combines innovation, dance spectacle and probably 3D effects. He'll perform new songs and classics, among them numbers from his Broadway show, Bombay Dreams.
Rahman has a degree in classical music, is at home in jazz and pop, has a voracious interest in musical styles, and has enthusiastically embraced new technology. He has built a huge recording studio in Chennai, and is, he says, still paying it off. He is famously workaholic and his albums sell millions, but, in India, he points out, he is not paid royalties, just a composer's fee.
Tickets IMO are extremely high priced from KD 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 5 KD tickets as far as I know are not available anywhere and will not be available at the venue which is the Qadisiya Sporting Club at Hawally.
I’m not a big fan of Rahman but his Vande Mataram composition and the video was excellent.

I am just amazed that such a high profile show got cancelled. I was not very sure last week but after reading the news today..... hmmmm
I think this show will never happen again and if they plan to go about it again, no one is going to go for it....
It seems that organisers did not pay up on time due to lack of sales. Now thats pathetic....
