Ingredients: 2 tbsp cashews 2 tbsp almonds 2 Tbsp. poppy seeds (if not available I tbsp of cashews may be increased or omitted) 4 - 5 dried hot chilies, seeded 1 inch piece fresh ginger 4 to 5 flakes garlic 1 cup water for grinding 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 3 whole cloves 5 to 6 cardamoms (use the seeds only) 1 Tbsp. ground coriander 1 Tbsp. ground cumin 1/2 cup cream 1/4 cup butter or as required 2 onions chopped 6 boneless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch cubes 2 Tbsp. coriander chopped 1 Tbsp. lemon juice Salt to taste Method Combine cashews, almonds, chilies, ginger, garlic and water in a blender and blend until smooth. Add cinnamon, cloves, poppy seeds, coriander, cumin and blend again until masala is smooth, set mixture aside. Melt butter in a large vessel and brown onions, add salt and brown. Stir in masala and cook for 20 minutes over low-medium heat. Add the pieces of chicken and light cream and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with lemon juice and coriander a few minutes before serving.

Hey Julia, Tried this out bu tjsut omitted the green chillies and added Kashimir chillies and omitted allt he garam masala. It turned out more like a butter chicken. Was delicious. Julia how abt some nice easy sweet recipes. Bengali sweets. Sari likes to try out some rasgulas but never comes right. Always hard and not spngy at all. Any tips? ??

Addie am posting the way we make rosogolla at home...may be you can try this one..
There are so many Bengali sweets that we make, I will try to post some easy ones in the coming days...if you are looking for any particular one , you can let me know. Will try to post if I know it.
